News of board members

Miss Kathy Harley has been a longstanding member of the Editorial Board of Dental Update. The Editor and her fellow Board members thank Kathy for her input over the years. She has managed to provide us with help and advice over that time while carrying out her ‘day job’ as a Consultant in Paediatric Dentistry and, for three years, as the Dental Dean at the Royal College of Surgeons of England. She has been a great servant to Dental Update and her help with the work of Dental Update has been much appreciated.

It is my pleasure to welcome Louis MacKenzie to the Editorial Board of Dental Update. Louis is a general dental practitioner and a clinical lecturer at the University of Birmingham School of Dentistry and at King's College London. He is co-founder of Dentaljuce.com the online verifiable CPD library and is head of clinical training at Denplan. He lectures nationally and internationally on direct and indirect restorative techniques and minimally invasive dentistry and has run a series of popular hands-on courses for over a decade. Louis has authored and co-authored papers and textbook chapters on a range of restorative subjects and is an acknowledged expert in e-learning in dentistry. I am certain that he will bring his wealth of experience to good use on the Editorial Board. You are very welcome, Louis.
