Abstract

Traditional approaches to crown preparation for replacement crowns or teeth with short clinical crowns are often overly destructive of tooth tissue. Adhesive cements or composites combined with dentine bonding agents provide the clinician with some flexibility in treatment planning and should be considered when more destructive techniques would otherwise be necessary.
