Abstract

This short series of three papers will review the relationship between mandibular movement and tooth morphology during function and dysfunction. ICP, RCP and long centric are discussed as is a description of mandibular excursions. Incisal guidance, condylar guidance, sagittal curve of Spee and lateral curve of Monson are inter-linked to illustrate how these factors of occlusion influence occlusal anatomy.
