Welcome to Dr Daniel Brierley

I am delighted to report that Dr Daniel Brierley has accepted an invitation to join the Editorial Board of Dental Update. He will be a most welcome addition, given the large volume of submissions that we receive in his field of expertise, that being evident from his cv. This includes graduation from Sheffield University in 2008 with BDS Honours, two years in general practice before undertaking senior house officer jobs in oral and maxillofacial surgery, medicine and pathology. Having obtained an MFDS Diploma, Daniel began specialist training in 2012, being awarded FRCPath in 2016. He took up his Consultant position in Sheffield in 2017, completed his PhD in 2019 and was awarded Senior Fellow status from HEA in 2020. Daniel is now employed as a Senior Clinical Teacher and Honorary Consultant in Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology at Sheffield University.
